Pemberton council looks to lower interest rates, save money
PEMBERTON—Council moved to get lower interest rates, weighing the issue of $7.7 million in general obligation bonds at its Sep. 1 meeting. The move was approved 4-0, on first reading, as Council President Sherry L. Scull was absent. The purpose of the proposed bond sale was to retire an issue of 2002 bonds.
