Home Sales Increase During Recent Month

Home sales were up 40 percent in August, 59 percent more than August 2009 and 40 percent more than in August 2008, according to the Multi Listing Service (MLS) information. The homes were on the market an average of 130 days. Average sales price of $95,746, median price $83,500.
